Madhur Bhandarkar's ambitious project 'Heroine' just can't seem to get
started on the right note. First, Kareena Kapoor agreed to do the movie
based on Hollywood legend Marily Monroe's life. But then she backed out
because the movie had too many bold and intimate scenes. The same story
could be repeated with Aishwarya Rai, who's now been approached for the
role.
It seems that Ash was offered the role not by director Madhur
Bhandarkar but by the production company involved. And apparently, Mrs
Bachchan has made it clear that she can only do the film if the
initimate scenes are cut.
With two top heroines having made
their reservations clear about those bold scenes and the controversial
story, the buzz is that Madhur is shelving 'Heroine'. We hear that he
does not want to change his script and, as it stands, the 'Heroine'
story might be too hot to handle for any of B'wood's leading ladies.
