The title was ‘Katrina Meri Jaan’ and now we all know that it’s called Zero with Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of a lifetime. Faridoon Shahryar in an exclusive interview with Katrina Kaif asked her about the Aanand L Rai film and this is what she had to say: “Every film has an interesting journey, that film is being made now and it’s called Zero. It’s very satirical and it is very interesting. It’s a very dramatic character and it is unbiased and unapologetic. It has some amazing acting performances and that’s wonderful. I am having a great time with Aanand sir.” Later also talking about Thugs of Hindostan and working with Aamir and director Victor once again and this is what Katrina Kaif had to say, “It’s a huge film and Adi and Aamir don’t like to speak about things till they are ready to unfold the information for their fans. But I think I am really happy to work with Aamir after Dhoom 3 and it is incredible to work with him. Again it’s a very interesting theme and he’s trying to do something different, something that happened been done before. It’s fun but a lot of hard work.”
One of the greatest films to have come out from Bollywood is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Released in 1995, this romantic flick starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol and was Aditya Chopra’s directorial debut. It gave a lot of people relationship goals. Women especially fell with the film thanks to the character of Raj, played by Shah Rukh Khan, who goes all out to win the heart of Simran, essayed by Kajol, and also of her parents. For actress Priyanka Chopra too, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge holds a special place in her heart. She revealed this when she appeared on the sets of the TV show ‘India’s Next Superstars’, hosted by blockbuster directors Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar. Everyone then expected that the romantic scenes or songs must be her favourite moments from the film. But however, she highlighted the lesser talked about sequence of Shah Rukh and Karan Johar (who was an assistant on the film and played a small role) going to Amrish Puri’s shop and SRK punching KJo. Priyanka Chopra insisted that Karan Kohar and Rohit Shetty recreate the scene with her. Both the judges obliged. Rohit Shetty portrayed the character of Puri, Karan Johar played himself while Priyanka Chopra stepped into Shah Rukh Khan’s shoes. Just like in the original scene, Karan got punched in the end but this time it was Priyanka Chopra who did the needful. After the recreation of the scene, Priyanka revealed that she always wanted to smack Karan Johar ever since she saw Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and her wish finally got fulfilled on the sets of ‘India’s Next Superstars’. On the film front, Priyanka Chopra had a release this year, the Hollywood film Baywatch, co-starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She is currently working on two more Hollywood projects – A Kid Like Jake, co-starring Claire Danes and Ann Dowd and directed by Silas Howard, and Todd Strauss-Schulson’s romcom Isn’t It Romantic?, featuring Betty Gilpin and Liam Hemsworth. She’s also working on third season of international television show Quantico.

Ever since her entry into Bollywood, Sunny Leone has been one of the top actresses who have been trending on various platforms. Now yet again Yahoo has ranked Sunny as being one of the most searched actresses. Ecstatic about having such a loyal fan base, Sunny recently expressed her happiness towards this by adding that not only is she thankful to her fans but it is because of them that she keeps moving forward in B-town. While we haven’t seen her a lot on the big screen this year with only a few item numbers to her credit, Sunny is gearing up for her big Tollywood debut. Playing a warrior in the untitled South film, the actress described her role as a strong and independent woman. She also added that many who are close to her asserted to her that this film will change her image. On the other hand, Sunny Leone is looking forward to a lot of other new ventures besides acting. While she spoke about starting work on the production house with hubby Daniel Weber, she also revealed about doing a TV show titled FitStop. Also, we had earlier mentioned that Sunny is gearing up to introduce her own line of cosmetics.
It’s a wrap for this year’s most eagerly awaited film. On Saturday, Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally wrapped up the last day’s shooting of his ambitious historical Padmavati. “It was a shot with Ranveer Singh. Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor had already completed their shooting earlier. Now the film is in the final stages of editing, mixing, background music and other post-production work,” says a source close to the film. Says Sanjay Bhansali, “None of my films have been easy to shoot. From the time I directed my first film Khamoshi: The Musical I’ve fought against all odds. My first film was declared a flop on the first day of release and there were reports of enraged viewers breaking their seats inside the theatre. I wondered what I had done to incur their wrath!” From Khamoshi to Padmavati …it’s never been easy. Sighs the exhausted director, “I don’t think of the struggle, the suffering and the strife as negative forces. They are my incentives to make the films that I want to make. If I had to make a stress-free film I’d be really worried.” As for the release of Padmavati, with BJP’s spokesperson Shaina NC clearly indicating that the ruling regime has no intention of obstructing the film’s release, Padmavati is geared up for December 1 for the biggest ever release for an Indian film.
